Google Analytics Is Fun!

It’s been awhile since I’ve gone into my Google Analytics account, and actually I forgot I even had one until I came across this old post by Matt, where he shared the 10 Most Bizarre Searches that brought people to his site last year.
Discursive Monologue by the way is a fantastic financial blog and I’m in the process of unraveling my way through all its content. I only recently stumbled across his site so I’m about half way through rummaging the archives. Honestly, I don’t remember feeling compelled to read a blog in its entirety before so this has been an especially rare treat. If you’re a financial junkie like me, be sure to check Matt out at Discursive Monologue if you haven’t all ready.
And now for some Broke-Ass Student stats from this past year, according to Google Analytics.
Top Five Google Search Terms that led you to me:

Most Bizarre Google Search: “how do I fix a broken ass?” Oh. my. I only hope he or she was able to find an appropriate site to rectify their…err, rectum.

- Over 13,322 people found my site through StumbleUpon

- the majority speak English; 51 visitors hailed from Italy, 113 from France and 192 from Germany

- Broke-Ass Student Just Got A Whole Lot Broker. You guys loved reading about my ‘being sued’ adventure. I guess the trauma was worth it considering the lawsuit went absolutely nowhere. If you know the collection agency is wrong, it really is worth it to stand up for yourself by fighting back.

The weird search term really cracked me up.

Haha…I definitely enjoy digging through my stats every once in awhile. There are always some great hidden surprises. Oh, and I’m totally stealing the “how do I fix a broken ass?” idea for a blog post.
