Travelling is fun. Don't risk too much to save a few dollars, though. Its the best time to travel now since you are a student and your schedule is so flexible... but if the choice is between travelling later vs. travelling now with risky accomodation options, do consider putting off the trip a little longer! Hilarious :) Thoroughly enjoyed the danish lunatic part :)

Seriously, though, be safe! Travelling is fun. Don’t risk too much to save a few dollars, though. Its the best time to travel now since you are a student and your schedule is so flexible… but if the choice is between travelling later vs. travelling now with risky accomodation options, do consider putting off the trip a little longer!

I spent two weeks in L.A. sleeping in my friend's 1972 BMW 2002tii. Campgrounds are great places to scam showers, and we even found one right outside of Newport Beach that would let us shower for a mere $3 a day. Fortunately, I think my airport/train station/car sleeping days are over. I'd imagine that the security hysteria post 9/11 has made things more difficult. For peaceful sleeping, I'm sure Las Vegas' McCarren International Airport is way up there. Every time I fly through I see tapped out gamblers peacefully snoozing away the time until their outgoing flight leaves.
