Dreamhost Periodically Collapsing Portions of the Site

Dreamhost is in the process of rectifying problems with their servers after a building power outage. As a result, portions of this site have been randomly crashing and unavailable since early yesterday evening.
I’m about to head to sleep. Hopefully the good folks over at Dreamhost will resolve these issues to some sort of stability by the time I awake.

We’re having the same problem.. it’s frustrating! Looks like your site is up and running now tho.
I woke up this morning and found my site down! I also have Dreamhost and have been disappointed so far with their performance. Have you noticed their stats being off?
I’m just glad they got all the problems sorted out, but I am disappointed that they did not anticipate this kind of problem before the planned power outage.
I’m also using DreamHost – have been for almost a year now and this happens occasionally… I guess this is something you have to live with unless you want to pay a lot more for hosting.
If you are still having issues, I’d to suggest my host. Let me know!
I have had no issues with them (for any of my site’s) in the last 18 months!
