Decluttering Crap
Mar 1st, 2007 by Jennifer Lynn
.. Ho hum ..
Today on my day off, I’ve designated myself the incredibly boring task of scrubbing my room clean. I still have so much *crap* laying around it’s unbelievable. One of my main goals for the month of March is to seriously declutter my living area to eliminate as many distractions as possible.
I also got sticky notes to randomly tack around my home and office. On each sticky, I’ll be writing little phrases to remind myself of particular goals. It will be an experiment to see if it helps keep me motivated and on track. I’m viewing it as a type of systematic advertising, except this advertising will be written by me and to myself!
(Psst, how about instead of flipping through magazines and comparing yourself to Hollywood glamour, you write a little note of your own reminding yourself how beautiful and unique you are?)
Ramit Sethi wrote a great update to his site I Will Teach You to be Rich, which has generated a lot of interesting discussion in the comments.
As I continue slacking cleaning, I’ll also continue perusing.
=^..^=

I hate cleaning. Guess what I’ll be doing this weekend…
I’m completely consumed by clutter in my apartment. I’ve tried pretending I’m motivated to organize, but it doesn’t feel right to me.
I guess only a few like to clean. It’s goes up to our time management skills to spare some time in cleaning. Although others may have a different way of using their time in cleaning.
