Interesting point of view. My broker, a man I consider to be very well informed, agrees that the market is not coming back anytime soon.

However, I continue to invest because there are bargains out there. Remember, many people who invested during the depression wound up very wealthy.

The big caveats are that investors must be very selective and should not invest money they may need in the next 2-3 years.

Hi,

I have a question. I live in PA and am being sued in civil court for an old credit card debt. I want to work on this debt. It is around $3000 but that includes interest, attorney fees, etc. I believe the original debt was around $2000 or less. Anyway, what is the best way to approach this collection agency before the court date to set up payment terms. I know they can not garnish my wages in PA, but can they take my car, even if I am still making payments on it. It is really my only asset, as my bank account is negilible. I do not own anything else or have hidden accounts, etc. I am only asking in case we can not come up with a payment plan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My friends thought I was crazy when I pulled my money out of the stock market last year and parked it into hard assets instead. If the markets keep getting worse, novice investors are going to get eaten alive.

I LOVE jelly beans!! Usually I buy them from the bulk candy section super cheap AND they have less calories than a stick of gum.

I've also heard shea butter is great for the skin (have never tried though)

I tend to avoid Vaseline because it's a petroleum product, and it doesn't actually moisturize. It layers the skin to trap moisture in, so essentially letting your skin moisturize itself. But I -love- shea butter in its place :)

I've heard castor oil helps your eyelashes grow, as well.

I use ACV on my face as well to combat the trouble areas I had for pimples (usually along the jawline or chin). I wet a rag with two capfulls of vinegar and then dampen it with water and wipe it over my face every morning after I shower. I haven't had a problem since :)

Some great tips! Thanks for sharing :)

Considering we're borrowing a few billion every day from the Chinese just to keep the life support on our economy, here's an idea how we'll get out of our national debt

1. war with Iran or just go ahead and bomb China

2. hyperinflate our currency until debt is worthless

3. raise taxes 50% higher

Welcome to neocon America.

If our candidates would discuss matters like financial responsibility and national debt just as frankly as Mr. Walker, conditions might be better. I know the interview heres a bit old but I still think its quite relevant for young people today. The baby boomers will be retiring soon and it's up to this new generation and our grandchildren to cope with this current American deficit mess.
